It was December of 2018 when singer/songwriter/producer Mariano Mallia suffered a vocal injury that would severely alter his way of life. His vocal cords had become partially paralyzed, and the young singer had lost his ability to sing and speak normally.
After four years of recovery and determination, Mallia has burst back onto the scene with his emotive stories, captivating melodies, and his ability to take listeners on a journey with his raw and unique production style. Despite his vocal challenges, Mallia refused to give up on his dream of pursuing music.
Fast forward to today and his music is now on all major listening platforms and his growing catalogue boasts over half a million listens. Mallia has been featured on iHeart Media’s “Nashville”s Next”, and his music has been heard on stations across the country including 94.7 WDSD, 93.7 WSTW, 95.3 WCHE, 98.5 WNUW, DOC Radio, and many others.
Upon looking back on his struggle, Mallia says, “Sometimes the obstacle that doesn’t make any sense is exactly what you need to gain the strength to get back up and go even further.” Mallia hopes that his story and songs can inspire others to keep chasing after their dreams and to never quit in the face of adversity.
